Thulisile Phongolo (also Thuli P;[1] born 22 January 1994) is an actor and disc jockey in South African media.
Personal life
Thulisile Phongolo was born on 22 January 1994.[2] Her boyfriend, DJ Maphorisa, was arrested on 7 May 2023 after punching Phongolo in her Sandton, Johannesburg apartment; he was charged with multiple counts of assault.[3]
Career
By September 2017, Phongolo was an amateur disc jockey,[1] a profession she maintained through at least April 2023.[4]
Acting
Phongolo began her acting career playing Zama on the South African Broadcasting Corporation's (SABC) TV series Tshisa.[2] While a prefect at her high school, Phongolo played Namhla Diale on the soap operaGenerations Thulisile phongolo biography of rory allen.
