Louis Chude-Sokei is a writer and scholar who was born in Nigeria, raised in Jamaica, and educated in the United States. He is currently a Professor of English and Director of African American and Black Diaspora Studies at Boston University where he holds the George and Joyce Wein Chair.[1][2] His work centers on the literary, political, and cultural phenomena of the African Diaspora.
